Location: Letchworth.
T.R Bullworthy installed the famous hydraulic Rotary two post lifts into the new workshop extension, these powerful lifts are capable of lifting the entire VW range of cars, 4×4’s and light vans. The Rotary lifts will serve the site for many years and the low cost of ownership will soon prove their stance as the most reliable lift on the market. The MOT bay installation was a first for the workshop having not previously had MOT testing facilities available.
The new MOT bay featured a new Rotary four post lift, Technique headlamp tester, Technique T8000 combined gas, and smoke analyser and a Beissbarth PC based brake tester with four-wheel drive testing facilities. The new alignment bay included the latest Bosch wheel alignment system designed for speed and accuracy in mind – an obvious choice for a busy workshop such as Lancaster VW. The existing oil tanks situated outside of the main workshop were replaced with new internal tanks as well was new pipework to suit.
Oil monitoring was taken care of by their existing Graco PC based system which was easily incorporated into the updated system. A new extraction system was also installed to cover the whole workshop with Sacatec being the obvious choice of equipment to use, renowned for their durability and build quality. To finish off the installation each bay was furnished with a heavy duty JAS workbench system with all air, oil and water systems post mounted close to the bench.
