What to look for…Accountability of your oil usage and having confidence in a system to ensure all oil is invoiced. With the high costs associated with some of the synthetic oils in use today it is all the more important to invoice all the oils used during a service. Alentec Orion can provide a profile for the return on investment which is normally 12 – 18 months and this should interest any accountant justifying the outlay. For any system of this nature we provide unparalleled product support and calibration checks. Systems are customised for each workshop can can be interfaced with most dealer management systems. |

Waste Oil Drainers
Alantec Orion provide a wide range of equipment for handling waste oil. The easiest way of collecting waste oil when servicing vehicles is to use a waste oil bowel in a container, or in a drum on a trolley under the vehicle on the lift. To extract waste oil directly through the dipstick hole, waste oil units with suction probes are used. In lubrication pits, waste oil containers on wheels running on pit rails are another possibility. If the containers can not be emptied by gravity, an air-operated suction pump can be used. The pump can either be mounted on the container or be part of a fixed installation on a wall or floor and connected to the container by a suction hose. The waste oil is usually pumped through pipes to a remote collector tank, which is emptied by waste reclamation companies when needed.

Hose Reel & Distribution Kits

A comprehensive range of hose reels, comprising 9 different series, with hose diameters from 8mm to 25mm bore and hose lengths up to 25 meter, to cater for every application. Models suitable for Oil, Grease, Waste oil suction, Compressed air water, Antifreeze, and all other water based applications. Available as complete installation kits, including the required hose end control.
Wherever longer hoses are required it is strongly recommended that hose reels be used. There are several advantages from using hose reels, such as efficiency. Once installed the hose is always readily available but can be retracted out of the way when not in use. Hose free floors will reduce the risk of accidents due to tripping and will also aid identification. As a consequence they help to increase the efficiency and hence the profitability of the workshop. Hose reels can be installed on the wall or ceiling or to special frameworks. We recommend that the should be installed at least 2.5 meters above the floor.
