FRU 20-UK Commercial Brake Tester

The Universal Brake Tester FRS is a device used to perform a complete evaluation of the condition of the braking system of light or heavy vehicles of up to 13 T per axle. Two welded steel frames, one for each wheel on the same axle, house rollers that ensure adequate adhesion for a successful test. Powerful motors drive the rollers and force cells report the braking performance continuously during the test.

The most significant information obtained is:

  • Brake force measurement for manual and pedal brakes.
  • Rolling resistance.
  • Measurement of ovality and weight (optional).
  • Pedal effort (hand clamp and pedometer) optional.
  • Braking performance.
