What to look for…
A wide range of products and prices means that it is very important to be clear about your intended purchase. Will the lift work satisfactorily and safely with the range of vehicle types you envisage. This is especially important for off road vehicles and larger vans where lift strength and stability are essential. Is the cost of ownership important? If it is, then remember that hydraulic lifts invariably last longer, are generally more reliable and tend to cost significantly less to keep than mechanical lifts. If the name on the lift is not the manufacturer’s, what are the long term guarantees for service? As always, check that the lift has been CE approved.

Rotary Two Post Lifts
Manufacturers of arguably the best and most durable products of their kind, Rotary has a range of hydraulically powered two post lifts that can deal with vehicles from 3.0 to 6.5 tonnes in weight. All Rotary two post lifts use a direct, twin ram lifting system which means that there are no ropes, chains or pulleys under load and very few moving parts. Clever column design ensures that the posts are massively strong whilst their baseless configuration reduces trip hazards and allows free movement of other equipment or toolboxes under the vehicle. Three stage arms are now used on all models to provide extra flexibility in reaching vehicle jacking points. Rotary’s two post lifts are legendary for their extremely long life and very, very low cost of ownership.
‘Rotary, the world’s most trusted 2 post lift’
Rotary two post lifts are available in ‘M’ or ‘E’ versions. The ‘M’ series has standard single-side manual controls whilst the ‘E’ series has more advanced features. The ‘E’ models include touch style dual electronic controls, integrated air and electrics and audible warning on lowering – all adding up to a unique package of operational enhancements for the technician. Rotary two post lift
models are now recognized and approved by most vehicle manufacturers. The reason is, quite simply, that when it comes to safety, performance and shear rugged reliability Rotary is unsurpassed. There are now Rotary two post lifts that will handle the largest and longest vans on the UK market. Equally, their strength and stability make them an ideal choice for large 4 X 4′s, such as the Range Rover, and even the largest lawn mowing vehicles.
